Kent Daughtry is the Owner / President of Professional Insurance Services, Inc. He has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. With two locations approximately 100 miles apart he is proud of his ability to serve almost all of NC. His commitment to education is exemplified by his LUTCF and CIC designations. His dedication to education, service and growth have proven to be a successful combination for his agency, his staff and his customers. Kent married a high school classmate and together they share 3 daughters and 1 son. They also share 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Together they have a horse and four cows to help them keep in touch with their roots. Kent enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and barbershop singing, church activities and his Rotary Club. All these activities are worked in around the requirements of maintaining and harvesting the 8.5 acre family vineyard. It is located on the land that has been in his family for over 200 years.
Darin Ridge

Darin Ridge joined Professional Insurance Services, Inc. in 2005 and is the current office manager in the Asheboro office. With over 19 years of experience in both commercial and personal lines, Darin is committed to customer service and strives to make insurance coverage simple to understand.
Outside of the office, Darin is very involved with his family and enjoys exploring the North Carolina mountains through its many hiking trails.

Theresa Thurston has been with Professional Insurance Services, Inc. in our Asheboro office since 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She makes customer service her focus and strives to build trust and long term relationships with her clients.
In her free time, Theresa enjoys taking motorcycle road trips with her husband, Bradley, and playing with her loving dog, Gigi.

Toni Allred has been an insurance agent for 27 years with a primary focus on personal lines. For the last 10 years Toni has applied her knowledge and skills servicing customers with Professional Insurance Services in Asheboro. She is married to Marty Allred and they have two children, Ashley and Matthew. She enjoys spending time with her family and activities outside. She also loves long weekends at the Beach and Mountains. She is an active member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church where she holds several jobs.

Nancy Vargas is our newest addition to the Professional Insurance Services family located in Clinton, NC. She has been in the customer service industry for over 8 years and recently earned her insurance license to pursue a career as an insurance agent. She continues to increase her knowledge through ongoing education and through helping clients with all their insurance needs. Nancy is fluent in English and Spanish which makes her a great asset to the agency.
Nancy is married to Freddi Hernandez and together they have three daughters – Vanessa, Arianna, and Allison as well as their dog Essie. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys visiting family and working on crafts.
Professional Insurance Services welcomes her with open arms and looks forward to working with her as she develops her customer base growth in her new career.

Jessica is a Pittsboro, NC native and comes from a Law Enforcement background – she spent 4 years with Chatham County Sheriff’s Office, where she found her love of marketing from spending time out engaging with her community. Jessica is married to Caleb Phillips & together they have two sons; Tucker and Beau as well as their dog, Chief. You can always catch Jessica with a coffee in hand (iced or hot!) When Jessica isn’t at work, she enjoys going to Boone, NC to take in the crisp mountain air and spending time with her family, just cuttin’ up with them!
